Our annual Foundation and Friends Standard or Waratah membership is your front-row experience at the Botanic Gardens of Sydney. Get access to exclusive events and discounts and be part of a passionate community actively conserving our beautiful environment. Choose from memberships for individuals, students, households, and clubs/associations. Join now!
Types of memberships

Concession | $60 | Concession membership rate is available for Commonwealth of Australia Pension card holders only. Senior’s cards are not accepted. |
Student | $60 | Student cards must be shown for student discounts. |
Household | $95 | Two adult individuals plus their children (0-15 years) residing at the same address. Two cards issued under adult names. If you are 16 years and over, you need to purchase an individual membership. Household memberships can include children aged 0-15 years. |
Household* Concession | $80 | To receive a Household Concession Membership rate both adults must hold a valid Australian Pensioner card or be current students. When applying, pension numbers or student numbers and place of study will be requested. |
Registered Clubs and Associations | $140 | Three cards issued in the name of the registered club or association. One member of the club or association at any one time can use each card. |
Waratah Members are Botanic Gardens supporters who make an additional annual donation alongside their Foundation and Friends membership renewals each year.
Our Waratah community supports the critical scientific, horticultural and educational projects run by the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, sustaining the life of your Gardens and contributing to evolving plant science globally.

Join, renew, or gift a membership
It’s easy to join, renew or gift a Foundation and Friends membership.
If you’re renewing, you’ll need your membership number which is located on your renewal reminder or membership card. When entering your membership number online, please include the letters and numbers without spaces.

Terms and Conditions
Your Foundation and Friends membership is only valid during the period up to and including the date of expiry on your membership card.
